Here is the mold and the corner blocks, ready for the c-bout ribs:

Gluing on the ribs:

 

Gluing on the first set of linings:

Carving the blocks into shape:

The mold is removed:

Then the second set of linings is glued in:

Then the blocks are carved to their final shape,

leaving complete a rib assembly:

ribs complete 2.jpg (85714 bytes)

(I used walnut for the second set of linings.)

 

Now, the ribs are ready to glue to the back:
