The Blues Resonator Guitar (National style, wooden body)

This page provides the details on the blues-style resonator guitar and shows you some examples of this size guitar.

$2300 (without cutaway)  [If you supply the all of the hardware, we can negotiate a lower price].

This is a copy of a National Style 1 resonator I made as custom order.
It's a round neck (can be played fretted or with a fingerslide.

The body is wood instead of steel.  (Other makers make these and Dobros have wooden bodies.)
The top is bubinga (pretty thick fopr strength and stability, since it is not generating sound) and the
back and sides are figured bubinga.  I intentionally made it stiff and heavier than a nromal guitar
to mimic the steel body of a regular National.  This one has a cutaway and rosewood trim.

This guitar has a nice blues growl as you can hear in the video:

(the video may take a little while to load!)
