We had a lovely visit in June 2009 for 2 weeks.  This time,

we brought our Moms and this meant a bit less hiking, a bit more

sedate a visit.  Both of our Moms had a good time and enjoyed

seeing our place.

 

Friends we saw:  Kevin and Anna, Ben, Gaye, and Cara,

Jeanne and Steve, Anne, and neighbors Tom and Jin Hee Nicolai

 

Hikes:

Tamanwas Falls, Wahclella Falls, The Penninsula, Catherine Creek

 

Activities:

The Bonneville Fish Hatchery (Hermann the sturgeon), The Bonneville Dam

The Gorge Center, White House of the Gorge and wine tasting, Rummaging

through the "Antiques and Oddities" store in Bingen, just walking around our place,

Multnomah Falls

 

Improvements we accomplished:

New kitchen faucet (thanks Ben!)

Revised the shut-offs for the laundry (now they won't leak)

New (old) dining room table and chairs

New arm chair for the master BR
