Directly after our White Salmon trip, Phyllis wrapped up school and then we

went to Shawano for her 30th High School Class Reunion (Oconto Falls, WI):

The Tuesday after we returned from Shawano, we had 9-yards

of pea-gravel delivered to improve our beach on our back pond.

This was our big project for this summer:

The pea gravel had to be shoveled into wheel barrows and moved to the

beach and dumped, and then spread over the weed cloth on the beach.

Phyllis and Joe did the bulk of this work -- probably more than 80%:

But the result was a really wonderful new beach (also shown, our new little garden):
